Sensorial theatre

Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, 1 September - 16 October

Unfolding in five acts, our latest installation offers a glimpse into the imagined daily life of an Aesop aficionado, opening the doors to a world of unconventional spaces, transportive aromas and curious corridors.

Five Rooms

An Aesop scenography

For seven weeks, Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann in Paris is home to Five Rooms, a theatrical set of nonconformist architecture. In keeping with our store design practices, the installation has been constructed in part from repurposed products and packaging: bars of soap become porcelain tiles, cardboard boxes serve as structural materials, and pages from the Aesop Book make for intriguing wallpaper.

Scenes of serenity

Throughout the installation, various experiences unfold, from express skin care consultations amid the soap-lined walls of the Bathroom to intricately choreographed hand-and-arm massages in the comfort of the Living Room’s Capsule of Respiteavailable at select times.
